What visitors say

I grew up in this church. My Grandma went there and my Mom still goes. I do not until anymore. It is a very good church. The Pastor gives to the community. He has done a lot with the church. Pastor McKnight was the Pastor, but he retired. And Pastor Hooks from Oklahoma is now the Pastor. Great church. God is here! Baptized by 4 year old! So much love there! History! I grew up at this fabulous worship place of God! So many memories! Life lesson! A stable! Family! Ms. Prelo picked me and Rasheed, junior choir director. Vacation bible school, Camp, Plays,I can go on! Blessed place from the parking lot to God House. Music, great choir, teaching of the lord in savior Jesus Christ! Many years ago I remember pastor McKnight baptized me. He was my first favorite teacher of the Word of God. Miss dearly. Not sure where he is today. Grew up in this church with my parents when pastor rev Byrd was pastor/ and than McKnight became pastor It was wonderful time than. With B o Byrd. A historical gem located in South Central, designed by the famous black architect Paul Williams.
