What visitors say

One of a kind RC church in Los Angeles. Very close to dt LA. Small but significant church for the surrounding communities. Non Filpino priests with roots/backgrounds from the Philippines. I saw mostly Filipinos attend this church with a few Caucasians and Hispanics. Church helpers are very passionate about their works. Restrooms are available. Parking is abundant except during Simbang gabi, etc.Good English service and straightforward. Mostly Filipino traditions. Simple but the oldest Filipino church in Los Angeles. Far from the elaborate churches of the Philippines but it represents the humble beginnings of the community. We went to this church when we were in downtown LA. They had a dinner gathering in the basement and I think it was for Thanksgiving and they invited us. We had a great time and the people are really friendly especially the president which is the organizer of the event. We felt the Filipino hospitality at this church. The mass is in English so everyone can come and celebrate. Very welcoming Church. Get ready to be greeted no matter the gap between vists. Although a Filipino Church, Masses are in English with influence from the Columban Fathers. Arrive early for parking if you cannot walk. Candles are around 50 cents to 1 dollar. One of the older more historic of the Los Angeles Catholic churches. Nice place to visit.
