Kinda bummed to see that this church never joined the Catholic Anglican Ordinariate... Fr. Andrew Bartus was able to join, but I guess the congregation wasn't keen on it. This church used to be open during the week for anyone to go inside and pray. Some reviewers hate it, but I really liked the ability to kneel down and pray in a traditional church interior setting with lots of room for privacy to pray. (I do attend more modern church on the weekends). I used to drop by after work and pray quietly alone and ability to do that was wonderful, I miss it since the place isn't open much lately with the pandemic. I grew up here, 1952 - 58. Sang in choir, confirmation and acolyte. I was not prepaired for first confession. Hated kneeling. We never had youth bible study. I was not an anglophile - the tradition meant nothing. No mission activities. Said it was,open but once entered, everything was locked. We called but no one answered. If you are seeking a high Anglican Catholic mass, St. Mary's does it right.
