Beautiful church with an Italian flavor. Wonderful sculptures with an emphasis on Italian culture. After services I found myself walking around the church and appreciating the various painted works of art. The altar was is the most amazing that depicts a fisherman. Smaller church compared to others Catholic churches. Great views of downtown from the steps of the church. What an amazing parish! I attended the Sunday evening mass and it started with a gentleman that was so polite as he greeted my wife and I at the door. The priests name is Father Leonardo and he was so in depth with his homily and made it applicable to me and everyone it seemed. The people are so nice. Some of the parishioners were so warm and sincere that we have returned for mass many times over. We have had the chance to get to know some of the parishioners, as well as brief conversations with Father Leonardo too. The architecture is extremely nice, but I am more impressed with the thoroughness of Father Leonardo's homilies and the warmth of the community at the evening mass. Pretty catholic church with an unusual altar. Prepared for a wedding, so we had to air out church because of musty smell. Attended another wonderful St. Joseph’s Table event. Amazing food and delicious pastries and cakes to buy. Such a beautiful little church. The priest gave a great sermon. Very wise.
