St Stephen was highlighted in a powerful segment on CBS Sunday morning today. As an atheist, Im sadden to see the faithful being denied in person church service because of the fear of being arrested by ICE. What has the United States become? ICE practices are mimicking the Nazi playbook: forcing people to worship in secret, arresting people at churches, hospitals and courthouses. As a son of immigrant parents, I'll always support those in search of a better life here. As a recent transplant SAG actor/singer/musician from NYC,, at my first Sunday AM bi-lingual service at this interesting out of the box church felt welcoming & warm. Newly ordained priest Holly is to be recognized as terrific addition to the staff at St Stephens. Blessings to all involved in making this a unique place of worship & community outreach. Lady Jane Robertson Being an fello Episcopalian. It seems very Inviting: yet; obviously, it Requires a Gated Enterance. Being a Cushion of a Retired, among the 1st Women to be Ordain in NYC, I’m a Custom. It’s like a punk rock church. Kinda, In ethic... But still steeped in the old rituals. Free thinkers and public servants run this church for real public benefit. I like. Bilingual services. I sing and play guitar as a part of a worship team for this church. It's a fantastic church, led by Pastor, Father Jaime, St Stevens Episcapal Church
