Living world Church took my family and I in a year ago. I was a non believer but my wife encouraged me to go to church. We have family members who are apart of this church and everyone here is very welcoming. Pastor Frey took the time to get to know us and spent every week outside of service to teach us about Lutheran Christianity. He covered all my questions I had and has helped me understand what it is to be a Christian. My daughters love the kids Sunday school where there are a lot of other kids ranging from 2 years old to teens. We love our church and the people in it. I read the 1 star review but did not find video they were talking about. It’s hard to believe since the members have been very kind to everyone who has come and gone. If you’re looking for a traditional Lutheran church or a church in general to help you under learn and understand the Gospel, this is definitely a place to check out. I'm moving to Mission Viejo soon and was looking for a Lutheran Church to attend I googled/ YouTube your church and wow I was surprised by the actions of the members. How they handle the couple on the sidewalk by confronting them demanding they leave. Calling the sheriff department on them. That was very concerning, it could have been handled so much differently. In the beginning I thought it was going to be a great encounter turned out that the church members turned on the photographers shame on Living Word Lutheran Church Members. Plus having one of your church members follow them was very concerning also. I realize this is an old video maybe a few months ago hopefully the members have a change of heart but I cannot attend the church whose actions are not Christian like. Hopefully they prayed for forgiveness. I just downloaded the sermon of 1/17/16 to my smartphone. Now I can play it again anytime. Pastor Frey records and posts his sermons on the church’s website. The Transfiguration Sermon really touched me. He talks about billions of Galaxies, Buddha, and of course Jesus. We are privileged to have such a pastor. He is brilliant and faithful to the Word. Pastor Dave is an avid listener. Beautiful soul and a contented preacher. His Church is small enough to know you and big enough to minister to your spiritual needs. Everyone should visit this Church. Pastor preaches the true word of God
