What visitors say
Attending 10+ years. The church has a wonderful heart and great personality with truly caring and active people. The lead pastor Bob is thoughtful and a really strong leader and teacher but most of all his strength lies in his heart as a shepherd. Pastor John is a deep thinker and extraordinary teacher. I often leave the service contemplating the message. When we initially attended, after shopping around, we never felt pushed to join but felt noticed and that was from the love of Christ these people have. My wife and I were seeking a Christ center church family where we could get connected and we found it at the Spoken Word Church. Be blessed! Rick Rutecki 10-years ago my wife and I were looking for a smaller church with with a pastor who teaches directly from the bible. This church also had to have a true family feel. Less than 5 minutes inside the door we knew we found our church home/family. Since then our faith and our understanding of the word has made an immeasurable impact on not just us but, by extension, our closest friends and family. Thank you, Pastor Bob, for allowing God to lead you and our church. Angie and I were drawn to the Spoken Word church in January of 2018 because of our young granddaughter's weekly experience at the church's program for young children. Since that time, we have been blessed to not only experience a true sense of community with everyone that attends / participates in the Sunday services, but the leadership of both Pastors Bob Cote and John Chipman have been instrumental in the expansion of our biblical knowledge. If you are longing for a church that literally "walks the walk" when applying Christian principles, fellowship, education, and the ability to grow your faith, then I would encourage you to attend a Sunday service as soon as possible. You will definitely not be disappointed. This is a great, small church where you will always be greeted and welcomed! The sermons are informative, bible-based and help me grow in my knowledge. The Bible studies are excellent and prayer and fellowship are very strong with every encounter. Personal relationships, availability, and feelings of belonging are what comes to mind when describing the Spoken Word Christian Church. It filters down from Pastor Bob Cote .He genuinely invests in everyone. And it is his nature. This beautiful trait cannot be faked. And it seems to be contagious as it brings out the same in others at church. As Bob often reminds us, it all comes as a gift from Jesus. We just have to accept it. And Him.
