Highway is a very warm and loving community. You can come as you are and you will be welcomed and accepted. No pressure, no expectations. There are so many things I love about this church – solid teaching, authentic and approachable leadership, transparency, etc. If I had to choose one thing (among many) I resonate with it would be that they are not a church that is overly inward focused. They care about the community and do a lot of outreach to those in need which is so important. We started attending Highway over 12 years ago as we were looking for a community where we could serve, be known, and grow in our faith. We came from a large church where we just felt like a number. After the first week at Highway, the pastors already knew our names, and my husband and I knew this was where we needed to land. Over the years, we've been able to serve in so many different ways - and start new groups as well. Our kids love attending and being a vital part of the community. When we started at Highway, our 3-year-old son made us sit in the front row so he could watch the drummer. Now, as a 15-year-old, our son is playing drums in the worship band. We're so thankful for the community here! Highway is a welcoming church with a warm community of people. I’ve been happy to connect with a growing group of young adults, while also appreciating the intergenerational connection between all ages. The pastors are also thoughtful and approachable, and take time to get to know you. No matter where you are in your faith journey, you’re welcome at Highway. I highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for a new church, coming back to church, or even just curious about Christianity. Small tight knit community of Christians. Very welcoming, authentic people, and good balance of theological teaching and community. Pastors are warm and approachable. Sermons starts at 10:30 AM on Sundays! Highly recommend or encourage you to checkout if you’re checking out churches. An extremely welcoming, small community church where I feel very comfortable. There is not a lot of religious pretentiousness here, which as a life long Christian and church goer, I deeply appreciate. Also, the lead pastor, Adam, is a dear friend who is a great shepherding and pastoring leader.
