This church is very welcoming and teaches the Word of God in a relatable way in a comfortable setting. The attendees were really diverse, including singles, young families, teens and seniors. I attended a Christmas service on 12/20. They had a festive candy area for kids of all ages, coffee bar, and a spacious sanctuary. The size was ample but not overwhelming, so you didn’t feel lost in the crowd. I appreciated all the volunteers’ friendly smiles and direction. The worship service was lively and uplifting, and the message was relatable and focused on the gospel. I will be back the next time I’m visiting the Napa area! This place is transforming people's lives a day at a time. Blessed and highly favored not because of money but the power that solves all my problems. 🙏. Never allow anyone or anything to steal your joy. Church isn't a country club for saints but a Hospital for sinners. As you approach the church you will be welcomed by people with giant welcome signs jumping up and down. It’s a shame you won’t be welcome once you’re inside if you use a guide dog. If you are blind and require a guide dog they will NOT let you in the sanctuary. You will be forced to stay in the lobby like a second class citizen. I was escorted out of the sanctuary like I had broken the law. It was incredibly embarrassing. I traveled 3 hours to be present for my niece’s baby dedication and they would not let me be in the sanctuary. I politely asked the man who escorted me out ‘what would Jesus do’ and he snickered at me. So if you’re blind and require a guide dog for your mobility I recommend finding a different church. It’s probably for the best. If a church is more concerned about getting dog hair on the carpet or the incredible inconvenience of a guide dog sleeping at the feet of a blind person rather than allowing people to hear God’s word maybe they need to follow Jesus’s teaching a little more closely. Guide dogs are NOT “service dogs.” They are Guide Dogs for the Blind. @The Father’s House- it’s time to change your policy. This church has changed my life for the better! We couldn’t be any luckier as a community to have the fathers house. Over the last three years I have been able to grow closer to God and have found my closest friends here! Many of the leaders and pastors at the fathers house have helped me through some of the hardest and best times of my life and I couldn’t be more grateful! I only pray that more and more people can experience the love and grace of this church! I love this church. The preaching always has something that touches me personally no matter where I'm at in my walk with the Lord. I love the worship, it always turns my heart to God and focuses my heart, preparing me for the message from the pastor. I feel welcome here. I look forward to growing in my walk here with my brothers and sisters in Christ.
