What visitors say
This is a fine church with a conservative, traditional Missouri Synod Lutheran church message, mixing God's law versus gospel in a very Christian, fair way. Berating a church and it's Pastor based on a farm that is, to this day, still welcome to grow food and help people, but voluntarily ended it's unbelieveably affordable lease because of the beliefs of the person running the farm, is very unfair to the congregation and to it's leaders. Before pre-judging the Shepherd of the Valley's message, which is primarily to love one another as Christ loves you, you are entirely welcome to visit and hear and experience God's message every Sunday at 10am, led by our beloved Pastor Joel Luckemeier. We will love to see you there! Wow just found out because of this church's pastor a pesticide free farm had to close down. Imagine an organization showing love to all the people vs this tax free church who only loves it's direct members...wow what a message to share not of live but hate. Guess I'm not surprised it is a church after all Not the kind of Christians I'd like to know- closed down Community Roots Farm because of their closed mindedness. What a shame, totally missing the point of the entire religion and focusing on the wrong things. Pastor Luckemeyer and the congregation are so very thoughtful and welcoming. A true church home where the Word of God is taught and lived. Pastor Joel is great! A small, caring, friendly, ,supporting church dedicated to growing in love and faith.
