We attended one of the three daily Masses at this beautiful, quaint church today. Our first time here. The reverence was striking — many of the women parishioners wore veils, and the priest faced the altar throughout the Mass (ad orientem). It felt peaceful, traditional, and deeply sacred. It was very reverent, traditional experience. I'll definitely go back whenever I will be in the area. 🙏🧡✝️☦️ Latin Mass absolutely stunning, reverent, a must go for my fellow Catholics. Such a deep sense of peace. I’m very grateful to have found this extraordinary gem of a church. ❤️🔥 Been going a lot here lately for 2:30 and sometimes 5:00 masses. The church itself is beautiful and reverent, but the temperature inside is honestly unbearable. It is ridiculously hot!!!!!!!!! not just uncomfortable, but distracting to the point where it’s hard to focus on prayer or the liturgy. What’s most concerning is that this it feels stifling even if we are supposed to be in the cold season currently. The heat builds quickly once people are inside, and there is very little airflow. Sitting through a full service feels like being in a closed, overheated room. it was not like this before. I hope the staff can address the ventilation or cooling system soon, because the environment inside the church should support worship, not make it physically exhausting. At least fix the air so that there is airflow inside. We have children too and I don't think this kind of stagnant air is healthy at all. I thought it was just me, I was not surprised to see other reviews saying the church is uncomfortably hot and so long lately. My husband and I decided to go to Our Lady of Guadalupe in Sultana for 5:00 PM. More comfortable and closer to my husband's work. Beautiful parish community, filled with reverence & love, & close to work for first Friday observance. Their spirit of hospitality fills me with gratitude.🙏🏼
