Welcoming to come here even with water to fill. Non judgmental here as helped me be introduced. Preaching was cool to listen. Would come again despite okay parking. We love Sent Life! This is a great place! ★★★☆☆ I spent several years deeply involved with Congress WBN events and small groups, so I feel responsible to share what I eventually came to see clearly. Leadership, centered on Dr. Noel Woodroffe, teaches that he carries a unique “apostolic mandate” and higher spiritual authority than ordinary believers, closer to God than the rest of us. Questioning his direction or teachings was regularly presented as rebellion against God Himself. Over time, many of us were strongly encouraged to limit or end contact with family and friends who didn’t fully support the ministry. Personal decisions, dating, career, finances, even where we lived increasingly required leadership approval. Local churches that partnered with Congress WBN often found themselves expected to hand over significant control and transparency. The early years felt exhilarating with breakthrough, constant encouragement, and a deep sense of purpose. Later, that same intensity turned into fear; fear of being labeled a backslider, fear of spiritual curses, fear that leaving would mean losing God’s plan for your life. That shift from love to fear is something many former members only recognized after they stepped away. If any of this sounds familiar, if you feel exhausted from proving your loyalty, watched in your relationships, or afraid to trust your own thoughts, please know those feelings make sense. A genuine spiritual home should give you more freedom, not less. It’s okay to quietly talk with someone completely outside the circle, read stories from others who have left, and decide for yourself what is true. You deserve peace that doesn’t depend on never disappointing leadership. Wishing everyone reading this real clarity and courage. A place that is lead by the spirit and operates according to biblical principles and patterns.
