I've been positively impressed with the Palo Alto Vineyard since I first visited in July 2025. I discovered the church by accident. I was on Google Maps street view looking for something else and happened to scroll across it at the corner of Middlefield Road and East Meadow in Palo Alto. It struck me as an energetic and spiritually thriving place, and that has turned out to be the case. Their first and foremost desire is to connect deeply with God in spiritual things and then to let that connection play out wisely and naturally. They expend a larger fraction of their resources than any church group I know of supporting over a dozen organizations that work with the disadvantaged in the area. In keeping with the Vineyard "everyone gets to play" idea, almost everyone who participates regularly volunteers in one or more ministry efforts or programs. It is a fun and welcoming place, people are very friendly, and there is much to do if you are looking for a place to contribute. I am so glad I ran across PAVC. Very warm and friendly gathering. I felt comfortable as a new person. Worship was good with a sense of the Holy Spirt. I’d guess there was almost 200 people there. They teach out of the Bible and it was relevant. The week I was there they had a baby dedication and it was super sweet how they did it. Very diverse congregation. If I lived in the area I’d definitely go back I’ve found Palo Alto Vineyard to be a refreshing and authentic place. It’s a grounded, God-focused, 'come-as-you-are' environment. The teaching is practical and deep, making it a great place for anyone looking to strengthen their relationship with God. Highly recommend it. My family has been attending the Palo Alto Vineyard church for the past 17 years. Although there has been changes over the years (two different pastors, new location, etc) one thing has remained constant; the amazing community and supportive, loving environment. All three of my children (now ages 14, 11 and 6) have been mentored in their faith through the hard working volunteers and pastoral staff at PAVC! Additionally, the musical worship always helps fill me with His spirit, even on difficult days. Thank you Lord for this community who loves You and desires to serve You so faithfully! Palo Alto Vineyard Church is a beautiful, multicultural community filled with love and warmth. From day one, it has felt like family. The leadership is inspiring and genuine, and there’s a strong sense of connection and care throughout the church. It’s a place where everyone is welcome and valued!
