It was my first time going this morning alone and it felt great everyone was friendly and there was snacks and coffee afterwards which I didn’t stay for but possibly next time. I will be back again. Everyone was welcoming it’s in a beautiful location and parking was easy to find. Had some time off with this weekend and stop by the St. Francis church. It was such a beautiful place. I differently want to go back and attend a church service in the original old church. I spend hours just walking around and taken in the tranquil setting. So peaceful. The idyllic setting is tranquil and peaceful which suited me just fine in my search for a (temporary while I was staying in the area for a few weeks) spiritual home. I attended ash Wednesday and their Lenten lectures. They had a thought provoking Wednesday night series (by a local Psychiatrist). Loved it. It was also very well attended. Which is nice to see. They have two services first at 8am in their small chapel and the second at 10 in the main church. Plenty of parking because it's a small congregation. My 5 star rating here is not to be construed as an endorsement of any particular religion, only the fact that the church makes it multi-purpose rooms open to non-profit groups for meetings. It's also the home to Town & Country Nursery School, in the past, a wonderful nursery school started by one of the most wonderful people I every knew, Pat Horan, may God rest her soul. Filming a Christian music video there. The little chapel has such an old-world feel to it. The rector seems like a great guy and family man.
