Beautiful church with a tight-knit parish community. Confession and Adoration offered throughout the week. Boasts more than 30 ministries and groups, including a vibrant college student and young adult ministry called the Newman Center. Make sure to visit the beautiful Marian chapel in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe at the front of the church. Great, Eucharistic community that has a lively Newman Center for young adults. St. Philip's also has Eucharistic adoration M - F from 8-12 pm and 1-5 pm, unless posted otherwise. The parish community recently renovated the old baptismal room and turned it into a Marian chapel. The chapel is open during normal church hours. Regarding liturgy, the parish offers contemporary and more traditional litugies. The 5 pm Saturday, 7 am, 9 am, and 5 pm are more on the contemporary style. The 12:30 pm Spanish Mass is also on the contemporary side. There are also two Masses with sacred music: the 10:45 and 7 pm Candlelit Mass. The priests are direct, inspiring, very spiritual. The church is beautiful but their people are amazing. The service is always filling in Soul, mind and Spirit. This is a nice old cathedral style neighborhood Church. The choir was practicing right before the 5 pm mass today. Nice church for visit. The place invited to pray and stay for a while.
