My review will be a little long. It comes with love/ heart, honesty, and faith. Born catholic; would attend mass Sundays and a few events here and there.. not very involved. My love for Jesus started 4 years ago. Living testimony of Gods love and mercy: that’s another story. My miracle made me search for events in different churches. Did not want to commit to any. I will attend anything from worship nights, Holy Spirit nights, special healing masses, monthly priest talks, adoration, prayer, book readings, etc. In search of spiritual, emotional and physical healing and strength. That strength that Jesus gives me to overcome any life challenges and obstacles aimed my way was my miracle motivation and promise to attend 1 hour mass or pray. One night Jesus had a plan for me; You can say a life lesson or purpose. I ended in an event hosted by St. Joseph Catholic Church. 3 days of that event and then after the event a light fellowship for the community. I purchased the guest book. Church volunteers were very welcoming and that’s where Jesus made his way. I attended a few group meetings. After meeting Father Martin, a few of his talks, blessings, masses, guidance/ confessions, good listener, caring and support for all his community. I chose to leave the fear behind and decided my commitment to Jesus would be to serve in St. Joseph. A blessing open the door for me to volunteer in Faith formation- Awesome leader thank you Michelle, that lead to English Hospitality/ Sunshine greeters, then Alpha Course, Catholic 101, Bible class, Women Retreats, Adoration, Rosary, etc. Thank you all can’t name all. I would have to make my review even longer. I can only say thank you Jesus for that night. Jesus guided me to a community that has taught me a lot. Welcomed me, made me part of the community family and I feel at home. One year now almost two. This church values are focused In building personal relationships, working as a team/ unity and no division in groups, all church coming together to help serve others with passion and grace. The Holy Spirit is felt in St. Joseph church. Jesus presence all around. I can keep going.This review is based on my personal experience’s. I Invite you to gods calling and join us at St. Joseph mass or events and open your heart to your own personal encounter with Jesus. God bless all, Ms. Teresita Thank you for an amazing Appreciation Dinner. The food was fabulous. I appreciate feeling so welcome and am very proud of this amazing parish. Great job rocking the party Fr Martin Literally one of the best spiritual places I could ever hope for - and it's fun here! I get so spiritually enriched through attending daily mass (8:30am), weekend mass + events, and my involvement in Women's Ministry (we have a great Women's Bible Study here on Thursdays!) I encourage people to stay involved here - it's very worthwhile. For being a small church, we have a lot going here! Come join us ⚜️ Such a warm and loving community! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with friendly smiles and made to feel right at home. The members are incredibly genuine, and it's the perfect place to grow both spiritually and relationally. Highly recommend this church! The worship is uplifting, and the pastor's messages are practical, encouraging, and easy to apply to everyday life. It has an authentic, relaxed atmosphere, and the children's program is fantastic—my kids are always excited to go back. I made my First Holy Communion here at Saint Joseph’s Placentia in March 1987 and my baptism on Easter 1981! Everyone is so kind and wonderful!
