My family and I have been regularly attending this church for about 10 months. We have attended other churches but what is happening at this church is beautiful! We love the worship and the Bible teaching is sound and unwavering. This church teaches truth. We are blessed to have found such a gem of a church! They also have so many programs and outreach. If you go here you will be fed the Word of God and find the support you need no matter your background or current life experience. I could go on and on with how happy we are. God bless this amazing church! 🙏 As someone who has been attending this church for the past 6 and a half years, I can safely say it is the best bible teaching and community based church within the area. Pastor J is awesome, and the smaller based ministries are great for young and avid followers who strive to strengthen their faith. Update: My sister, Aurora, and brother-in-law, John, were visiting us (from Last Vegas, NV) after my son, Daniel, got married, Sat. 09/06/2025. I believe they enjoyed the Sunday service and wonderful hymns, 09/07/2025. I enjoyed the sense of community. I bought my T-shirt and ordered a black River City Christian Church hoodie, too. Older post: I enjoyed the Christian music, met a newby, Mary, who sat next to my husband, Greg, and I which was our first time, 06/29/2025, in attendance. We each were handed a Compass Magazine which had some good articles in it. I texted the number as the bulletin board stated and received a small parting gift box with goodies. I hope my husband loved it as much as I did so we can return. Pastor, Jesse Smith was funny at times as he went over the Book of Proverbs. It's a very nice, welcoming and comfy church. My husband and I LOVE this church! We attended our premarital counseling here and just loved the community and people! We also loved the fact that it’s a Bible believing Bible teaching church! We did have to move out of state and leaving River City was probably one of the hardest parts about moving. We’re trying to find a church like River City, but it’s hard to say goodbye. We will miss you River City!! I'm not one to do a review like this and it took 2 years to do it but I truly feel compelled to. This church ghosted me in one of my greatest times of need and if it wasn't for my deeply held faith and the Lord's presence in my life then I would have struggled continuing on and given up completely.
