From the moment we pulled into the parking lot it was a very warm welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted with huge smiles and out reached hands. checking my granddaughter into Sunday school was simple and she felt comfortable right away. The worship team is amazing.. literally had goosebumps during the entire time we were singing 🙌 the Holy Spirit is alive in this church.. you can feel the presence of God in the congregation they were very embracful Introducing themselves and welcomed us. Pastor Chris delivered an awesome message leaving us wanting to hear more .. definitely found out new church and we are excited to go back. Casual dress, down to earth preaching of the gospel. This church is on fire for the Lord ❣️oh and they have coffee too 🙂 Wanted to love it and the message from the pastor was good. However, my mother and I were greeted at the door by an elderly gentleman and after that not a single person spoke to us. Felt very cliquish and unwelcoming. I'd like to try again but I would have to attend by myself this time as my mom was visiting from out of state and I would feel even more uncomfortable being there by myself and no one speaking to me. I left a detailed msg at this church saying I had been scammed out of my retirement money I am a Christian since 1977, I have reliable transportation, currently living in the parking lot of the travel center. That was 4 days ago no one contacted me so I called back & one of the most dispassionate *christians answered & when I appealed to her for help she said I quote “ I guess you could try the mission because we don’t do that kinda thing here” I said are you saying your church does not do outreach? she re- prayed no we don’t do that here!!! What this unkind lady did to the “least of these, she’s done to Christ! Shame on this church!!!! Probably don’t remember me but I was introduced to you 2019 through New Life Recovery. Your worship team, Pastor Chris, and to the elderly couple who sat behind me and would tap me on the shoulder and tell me “it’s going to be ok”, I think they were the drummers parents, and to all the other members of your church who reached out, thank you. You’ll all ways have a place in my heart. I’m 72 now and things didn’t turn out the way I planned but “God’s will be done “ not mine. Thank you. Sam Bustos God's redemptive power being displayed. Anyone from any walk of life is welcomed with open arms. Full of people whom have been transformed by God's grace, I love this place.
