Queen of Angels in western Riverside area is a beautiful church located between residencies. Although I am not a regular parishioner here, I have attended Mass as a visiting guest musician for my friend’s wedding, various rehearsals, and another special event Mass held by the diocese. The layout of the church is circular and the font is at the back. Entering the church, you have a view of the beautiful altar and large crucifix, and the choir section off to the left. Being so spacious, the acoustics can sound a bit sloppy but given the right sound system settings, it can sound beautiful. There are plenty of parking spaces here. Overall, very beautiful church for prayer and worship. Really nice church but never in my life have I experienced a churches getting closed during mass it is the house of god no church should be closed specially if there’s enough space to sit the people that help the priest are very rude my sister and I wanted to get our blessing from the priest and he wanted us to get it from one of the priest helper and we respectfully said no and he kept on insisting for us to go with the helper my apologies but once again no one should be denied from going to gods home the first couple to marry at Queen of Angels Catholic Church """ Israel Gonzalez y kary Avila September 17 2016 La primera boda celebrada en la iglecia Queen angels Catholic Church septiembre 17 2016 My most recent review here of a wedding photographed in July 2025 I'm sorry but I try to give zero stars to any church, regardless of religion that doesn't have nor take time to answer a phone call. By this I mean any call. On several occasions I've tried calling in to check on mass times for family members and all that I get is either a pick up and quick hang up. Sometimes I've gotten a phone pick up with no answer. The reason why this makes me very upset, is that the churches donot hesitate on asking for money before mass is over, to help with any given reason, " for the churches benefit, of course ". Quite frankly this is one of many, many reasons why I donot attend church. It's always about money and their benefits. If the church is going to have offices where you can go and join and ask questions on their time, and not be there when someone needs to get a hold of someone there, then the church and by church I mean whoever is in charge . Maybe the Vatican. The Vatican is so filthy rich that they cannot afford a clerical associate to pick up the darn phone. It's very concerning.
