My family and I came here for the food drive. It was my 2nd time here and I wasn't aware that dependents could use my card. We had moved from the general lines to the 1st timer/no ID line. I had my family member apply as a 1st timer since it was their 1st time there, and as I was unaware they could use my card as a dependent. We'd been there since 6am, and we were finally seen at around 8:40, where we were told that they could use my card. Instead of being let thru with a badge and a warning, we were sent to the back of the line. It was 8:56 by then. We did as we were told, excited at the prospect of finally getting food when we were stopped by a guy at the end. He had told us that he'd seen us leave the back of the 1st timer line when we'd clearly come from the tables. He'd been very hard headed, refusing to understand our situation. He begun to mock and ridicule us as we kept trying to explain, so frustrated, we went to go get another volunteer who'd seen us in line since 6. He refused to listen to both us and the volunteer, and would not let us thru despite having been there for hours, so ultimately, we went home empty handed. A little empathy, none of the mockery/ridicule and some understanding would have gone a long way. I have been in church my entire life and attended many churches of different denominations and have never experienced such hospitality, care for the community, and reverence for God as I do at The Rock. The house of God is truly taken care of and the Spirit of God leads everything they do. The church and Pastors truly love people to life, which is the mission of the church. Thank you, Rock Church, for being the hands and feet of Jesus. Thank you to all the Pastors for equipping us with biblical truth every service. You are so appreciated! Awesome experience. I was just visiting from Northern California, and this was the closest place to my hotel. What a wonderful house of prayer and worship?! Makes me want to move! How many angels must be in an establishment of this caliper? My schedule and health changed so I went looking for an evening service. Regulars were very welcoming and the evening service is smaller. I was even invited to their salt group which meets after morning Sunday service for lunch for older folk every two weeks. The service is only an hour which makes it even easier to attend. The campus is beautiful and sprawling. Definitely will be going again! Very inspirational message. Speaker was Pastor Jeff T Osborne from Patria Church (ALFC) who spoke on unseen advantages, rest and give it to God. This was my first time and I will visit again.
