When I arrived my thought was that it's a Calvary Chapel Church should be great. The message of our Lord is spoken here and this should be enough. Unfortunately, when I found out that they have included politics in the church information, that was enough for me to walk away. Jesus said, give unto to Caesar what is his as a sign that he would not get involved in the political activities of His time. He told us to obey authority figures but there was nothing about pushing the people's political opinions. No, His Word is about how well we treat others. His laws are centered around how to behave towards all people. Most of all He wanted us to remember to Love God above all other things and second to that was to love our neighbors. Politics is far from this idea and the church should consider focusing on Love and Faith in the one true God. Just sad... Excellent Bible Teaching from Pastor James Class! My wife and I enjoyed the worship together and hearing a solid Bible message on the Book of Daniel Ch. 11. My wife and I want to make this our home church to grow and be filled with the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. The staff is kind, attentive, and personable. We want to highlight Pam and Phil, amazing and loving ushers/ greeters. We love the atmosphere here and it’s not too far from our home in Santee. So blessed! Thank You, God. 🕊🙏🏽🕊🤍🤍🤍✅ On my first visit to Calvary Chapel of Santee, I filled out the connection card with all my information. I told them I was a first time guest and I had enjoyed the music and sermon very much. No reply at all from anyone at the church. Second time I went I filled out the card again, asking for prayer and if they had any groups for 50+ adults. No reply from anyone at the church. Third Sunday I went, I once again filled out the connection card. I said I was disappointed that no one had reached out to me as a new comer and welcoming me to their church. I said, “do you not reach out to newcomers”? Two days later I FINALLY get a voicemail from someone at the church saying they were reaching out because I asked them too! Really?? I have never once been to a church who did not reach out to me as a newcomer. Isn’t filling out the connection card mean you want someone to “connect” with you? I really love the music and the preaching but really don’t know if I want to attend a church where I don’t feel very welcome. If you want to be anonymous, this is the church for you. I enjoy the message the pastor relays. I enjoy the music. Beautiful facility and the staff is very kind and respectful.
