We love attending this church when we visit San Diego. It is downtown and parking can be difficult to find but the church has two lots available without a fee. The building itself is historic, beautiful and very majestic. The music is always spectacular! You may hear the band, the organist, the choir or the orchestra. Often, you are privileged to hear all of them. Pastor Jeff Meyers, the staff and local parishioners are very welcoming without making visitors feel awkward. We often feel like the sermon was written just for us and we don't live in the area to be able to attend regularly. This church has a presence in the downtown community and we feel fortunate to experience or worship here when we are in town. Beautiful building inside and outside. The congregants seem welcoming. However, I don't think the church wants new members or visitors because there is no place to park. Good luck with the side street parking meters. Most are broken and the last thing one would want is to go into a place of worship to hear a good sermon and come outside to a parking ticket Beautiful historical building. Architecture inside and out is gorgeous. We have attended the Resurrection Presbyterian worshipping community for the past few months and reall enjoy it. Biblical teaching is spot on. Love that Communion is celebrated every week. This church building is stunning and the way they serve the San Diego community is powerful. Come on by and be part of this amazing faith community. You we be welcomed. I do not attend this church but went to see our son perform with the Pacific Coast Chorale. It's a BEAUTIFUL church with an impressive pipe organ and organ player, I can't remember her name, but she came out of retirement to play, and she was amazing. Folks were very welcoming.
