What visitors say

Beautiful high traditional Lutheran service. The organ is well-maintained and elegant with a skillful organist. Law and gospel in the sermon and a welcoming congregation. The pastor is well-spoken and a good orator, and is also skilled in chanting The chapel feels historic, with artful stained glass and excellent theological symbolism. If you are LCMS, I cannot recommend Grace Lutheran enough. The traditional Divine Service at Grace Lutheran Church provides a beautiful liturgical experience. The liturgy is conducted with great reverence, and the messages delivered by Pastor Thomas are insightful and inspiring. The pipe organ and beautiful Lutheran hymns add greatly to the worship service. There is a strong sense of community despite the “commuter aspect” of the congregation. People from all over the county attend and call Grace Lutheran home. The focus on Scripture, Law/Gospel, and the Lord’s Supper, combined with the congregation's warmth and love, provides an uplifting experience where one feels connected to Christ and spiritually fed. This is one of the most beautiful worship spaces on the west coast AND, one gets to receive God's free gifts of the forgiveness of sins and the strengthening of one's trust in Christ's promises via His words rightly preached and His sacraments rightly delivered! Come and dine with the Savior, Jesus the Christ, and remember: He promises forgiveness of sins and eternal joys and pleasures forevermore to those who turn from their sins (breaking the Ten Commandment), who are baptized, and who trust the Savior, Jesus, to save them. However, He does not promise your tomorrow. Come, sit in the back, and let the Divine Physician work on your head and your heart-- this is a 100%-free clinic for your hurting, guilty soul. And remember, you don't have to be good, because you're not, you are the walking dead, just like the rest of us. But don't worry, Jesus will gladly make you alive by giving you a new heart, with new desires, and will trade His purity, perfection, and life for your impurities, imperfections, and death. He accomplished this by dying a grusome death on a cross, because sin earns death, and God is just. So, Jesus took it all into his body and into the grave; He got what you deserve so that, in the end, you get what He deserves. He then rose from the dead like He said He would, proving that He defeated death, again, for you. Everything He does is for you! He is saving a place for you at His table. Won't you come? For the theology, worship, community, architecture, music, and art - 5 stars I liked the format of the website. I have attended intermittently for a long time. For the past three weeks, I have been fortunate to be able to attend every Sunday. This is especially a blessing now as I am experiencing a transitional period in my life. CR
