On my pilgrimage to visit every Catholic Church in San Diego County, I found myself immersed in the beauty and history of this Church. As the seventh church built in San Diego (1921) and at one time considered to be San Diego’s cathedral, it exudes a special kind of grandeur. The Mass was truly inspiring, and the warm spirit of the parish added to the overall experience. Stepping into Saint Patrick Catholic Parish, I was instantly captivated by its old-world charm. The welcoming community made me feel connected to the rich history within these walls. A must-visit for any church explorer! A blessing for many learned who love all peoples and and a safe comforting home in which to pray to our Creator. The homily was to point and educational advice. The location wonderful, the attendees open armed in welcoming everyone, trying to get us all to be able to get to Eternity Beautiful church. Lot of beautiful stained glass. I love old architecture and this church is just the perfect kind; it's been around for just over a century. Mass was excellent, so far each priest there has shared some gem homilies. This is my new home parish. Worth it! Yes, it is worth the time and effort to attend 8am daily Mass! People smile at you! They are kind and reverent! Priests give clear, concise, and sobering homilies! Shout out to Father Carlos and Father Phil! Also, there is daily Rosary after daily Mass. I feel joyful when great traditions of the Catholic Church continue. So good for the soul!
