We’ve been members of St. Mark’s for over 30 years, and many of our fellow members feel like extended family. Cindy and I were married here in 1995. Both of our sons were baptized at St. Mark’s, attended Sunday School, served as acolytes, played in the bell choir, and participated in many children’s productions. It’s a wonderful church for young families and for anyone seeking a safe, welcoming place to explore their faith. I was baptized here, I’ve been attending regularly since I was about five, and I’ve been in the Children’s Choir for the vast majority of the time since. This church is an incredibly loving and open-minded environment. It’s an amazing church, though I’m not extremely religious and most weeks I just come to the see wonderful people that I’ve met through this place, each week I still end up leaving with something to think about or at the very least a smile on my face. I grew up attending St Mark’s with my parents and now am raising my family here as well. It is a kind and welcoming community. My kids look forward to coming to Children’s church and youth group. The sanctuary is a beautiful and peaceful place with wonderful musicians from the children’s choir to the adult choir, pipe organ and thoughtful sermons. St Mark’s has been an amazing part of our family for well over a decade. There are many reasons this has been so special, though if I had to pick one, it would be how the church has supported and loved our kids as they have grown in the church. From the choir, to children’s time each Sunday, to youth group on Sunday evenings, the church has brought lots of love into our boy’s lives. I’m very happy St Mark’s has been such an important part of our lives. A beautiful church with a stained-glass-enclosed sanctuary that inspires awe and reverence. The traditional service features inspiring music with accomplished musicians. The pastor’s teaching is current yet timeless and Biblical. Best of all is the warm and friendly community of all ages. Families and children are obviously welcome. A wonderful place to explore and deepen one’s faith.
