St. Matthews is a small church full of charm and rich history. It’s the oldest church in the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego. The congregation is friendly and diverse. An old and pretty church that I think it is really an iconic landmark of National City. Wished I could've visited the church inside though. Also disregard the times in my picture, it is just a photo of the church itself. Warm, welcoming people. A diverse congregation with Filipinos, Latinos and Anglos. All are welcome. Inspiring preaching. Beautiful liturgy. A healing place. Me and my family have been coming here for 40 years .is a Episcopal church and I am happy to been coming .enjoy the parish and parishioners. Beautiful service and kind people
