What visitors say

This is a very friendly and down to earth church! The teaching style is straightforward and really digs into the Bible. They have a nice coffee bar with some breakfast snacks for sale, and nice classes for children. My 2 year old grandson loves his class! They also have evening gatherings and classes for adults throughout the week, and special events like concerts and "serving off the hill" events where people can contribute to the local community. I think you should check it out! My wife and I have been part of Church on the Hill for 20 years. Over that time we've continually seen God at work, changing lives right before our eyes. We deeply love the worship, the preaching, and the ministry and mission work happening both inside and outside our church walls. Our greatest blessing, however, has been our Community Group. We gather regularly to study God's Word, pray for one another, and offer each other support and encouragement. That group has been essential to our journey here, keeping us connected and giving us a real sense of belonging. Mike B. Our family has been attending this church for about 10 years, and we are so grateful for the impact it has had on our lives. Pastor Scott, consistently delivers sermon series that truly help us grow in our faith. He brings humor, kindness, and a genuine desire for each of us to develop a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus, which makes every message both meaningful and relatable. The kids and student programs are absolutely fantastic...from babies through high school. The high school ministry played a huge role in leading my daughter to accept Christ as her Savior and helped keep her grounded on a healthy path through high school and now into college. We will always be thankful for that investment in her life. I also love how intentional the church is about connecting individuals and families into community groups. If you want to dive deeper in your faith and build authentic relationships with other believers, the opportunity is there, but there’s never pressure. The services are incredibly welcoming, and no one is made to feel like they have to serve before they’re ready or if they’re still seeking. The worship is current, engaging, and truly enhances the overall experience. This church goes beyond simply being seeker-friendly. It creates a space where people can grow, belong, and encounter Jesus in a real way. We’re so thankful to call this church home. Church on the Hill was the starting point of my journey in finding Christ. I was apart of the highschool ministry, kids ministry and got to go to Hume, Lake Shasta on houseboats over the summer, and even got baptized November 2023. The community here is unlike any other church I’ve been too. Everyone makes it their mission to talk to you and make you apart of the family. I’ve never felt so welcome at a space than here. I remember the first time I came to church on the hill I was welcomed by the entire highschool ministry and I knew then that this was my church for good. The worship is also beautiful, Tyler Lee has a powerful voice! The main pastor, Scott, delivers his messages so well and knows how to connect with the community so well, you never feel like a stranger! Small groups here are also wonderful and the kids ministry (new born to highschool) focus a lot on integrating God and the Bible into everyday life. Love this church! Church on the hill is a welcoming and loving church! this church has helped me grow so much not just in my faith but as a person. I’ve found amazing friendships and a loving community. It’s a place where I feel safe, supported, loved and cared for. Worship is one of my favorite parts it’s uplifting and helps me feeling closer to God. However the high school group has been an important part of my experience it’s a place where i can be comfortable being myself and growing in my faith with people my age but leaders make a huge difference they care about us, they are there when we need guidance, and encouraging. But in general church on the hill is a welcoming environment that feels like family, where everyone is valued and loved!
