What visitors say

I'm new to the area and had never been to a Lutheran Church before. We attended last Sunday and I've never felt more welcome, at church. It was a wonderful service, and there was coffee and refreshments afterwards with time to mingle. An amazing experience, and we will definitely be back. I’ve been a member here since 1996. The first day I went I knew it was my church. Pastor Hodel and his wife, Gail are awesome. They recently retired and Pastor Jeremy Rhode is the pastor now. Pastor Rhode is a fine preacher. He and his wife, Julianna, are good folks. The stuff coming out of this church when I was in college in the middle of nowhere Kentucky kept me in the Christian faith and led me into Lutheranism. It was absolutely a relief to hear about Christ for me and not what I must do for God. The Word is preached and sacrament offered every week. Christ crucified and the forgiveness of sins Ive been going to this church off and on for many years love hearing Pastor Ron preach the law and Gospel to our decaying world
