As someone who could always make it by without help, I felt shameful going to a food kitchen. But with the food I have in my car, I found myself crying all the way home. They made me feel like I could breathe again. I go to nursing school full time with a shifting schedule and work 6 days a week per diem (meaning sometimes I don’t have any work) to try to have a full fridge is extremely hard when you don’t know if you’re getting paid and bills are threatening to crush you.. I can’t tell everyone how thankful I am to be eating fresh ingredients again. The people were lovely and very giving. I’m so thankful I’ll be able to eat a nice meal. It will be my first in a couple months. The volunteers are angels. And Nicholas was a great guy very kind and supportive. Wonder if I can volunteer there too. An excellent resource local to our community! Always fully stocked, and volunteers are very kind. Open all week with consistent hours. I have been volunteering here at the pantry for over 5 years and I can't think of a place that is more serving the community than this. Incredible amounts of food is handed out here for those who need it and the volunteers as well as staff are incredibly friendly people If you are hungry please come by, the pantry wants to help The pantry is open Mon, Wed and Saturdays It is such a wonderful place. Organized. The Volunteers are very friendly. This place was amazing and really helped my family and I out right when we really needed it.
