I love my 5th year attending Eastown Church. It's a welcoming, warm and great worship/teaching place to be!!! Thanks to Pastors: Clint Dupin and Mrs. Michaell Garcia Dupin for their dedication to truly show God's heart towards all. A small, but mighty local church that truly lives out their mission of loving local. My husband and I have been attending Eastown for a few months now and have taken next steps in serving and immersing ourselves within this community. If you're looking for a place that will welcome you and support you in your faith journey, come and check out Eastown. I looked at this church when it first opened at the request of former neighbors who knew these “Pastors.” I’ve followed this organization and I would not put my family in this place or under the care of this pastoral team. Yes, they appear really nice, friendly and loving to the world; but that is because they are worldly too. This organization is afraid to teach the Bible in truth of God’s word, fearing it might offend someone. In doing so, they seek followers and growth instead of God and they do not realize this error. They sound so just, citing their fight against systemic racism on their website, but fail to realize all worldly problems are overcome by Jesus alone. Racism is hatred for the color of one’s skin and systems can’t hate, people do. People who don’t understand we are all brothers and sisters and descendants of Adam. They teach that Heaven is a real place but so is hell, and that’s why Jesus spoke more about it. So you have to teach both, because how much would you have to hate a person to not warn them of the consequences of not putting their faith in Jesus alone. Because it is in faith alone that we are saved. Jesus came in truth and grace (John 1:14, 17) but churches like this only teach grace because truth offends all. They miss out on the glory that comes when you accept the truth, that is we are all sinners who have fallen short and we are all in need of the only savior, Christ Jesus. God’s only son from heaven who alone provides the only way to heaven thru faith in Him alone, because of the work He alone, performed on the cross. I hope churches like this change and become bold in their faith. I hope they change and begin to follow the requirements for being a Pastor that the Bible clearly outlines in 1 Timothy and that they come understand Jesus’ warning in Matthew 7:21-23 and in his letters to six of the seven churches of Revelation were warnings to churches and people who claimed Christ. Very warm and inviting. Each person that you shock hand with were engaged in meeting you and welcoming you. The sermon relevant. The band was wonderful. The best and funniest kids church ever!
