Rev. Ken is a gift from God. His sermon today will enlighten you, as well as transform and free your soul in a way that will enable you to live your life to reflect God's words and deeds. My first generation Japanese American grandfather once told me that a Korean was at the level of a dog, and for that, "I am sorry." I am a third generation Japanese American, and never believed that nonsense, but because of Rev. Ken, there was an added respect and admiration for Koreans and Korean Americans that I needed to learn. For that, I will always be thankful. If you really want to get a sense of his understanding of diversity, ask him what he likes to eat. God bless you Rev. Ken, your family, and Aldersgate UMC.
