Just seen video on Instagram about this place. Some very nice people in the video but some very sour people here aswell. Maybe the pastor needs to teach love and how to treat your neighbors, you dont just call the police on someone just because they have a camera. Will never attend this place. I’ve always loved Mariners Church and believe it is a great church overall, but I recently had an experience in the Mariners Kids section that left me uneasy and uncomfortable. When I went to pick up my son, I was waiting for a volunteer to collect my pickup sticker. During that time, my son came out looking noticeably sad, which concerned me. When the volunteer, Leslie, came to get my badge, she called my son over and asked me how old he was. After I answered, she commented in a condescending tone that he had a hard time sitting down/ sitting still. I responded that he is a kid and he’s excited to be here. While I can’t say for certain how my son was treated while in her care, the interaction made me uncomfortable. I’m not willing to risk my child being under the care of someone who appears to lack patience with excited children. I still believe Mariners Church is a great place, but because of this experience, I no longer feel comfortable having my son attend the kids’ area upstairs, and I won’t be returning. I hope this feedback helps bring awareness to how important tone and patience are when working with children. Mariners Santa Ana is an amazing church! Welcoming to everyone, great music, and the sermons are Bible based. I love that this church cares about community and helping people grow in their relationship with God. If you have a heart for Santa Ana and Jesus or Jesus and Santa Ana or whichever then this is a place you need to be. They love the lost, tired, weak, weary and it's clear with what they do rather than just what they say that they're legit for Jesus here. Awesome Word of God and Spirit lead church. Welcoming, caring, and loving people of God loving on the community of Santa Ana and beyond. Bless to be apart of an amazing humble, God loving team! Btw Lead pastors Guillermo and Nidia Gonzalez are the most wonderful sincere people I have ever met! #ImHome #MarinersSantaAna
