I went to this church before and during its existence as a megachurch. My one-star rating is not based on its current, smaller size; it is based on the fact that it no longer appears to be a church that is faithful to preaching the word of God. The message I heard was a vague God-wants-you-to-be-happy bowl of mush. The statements of belief and vision focus more on making sure that nobody's feelings are hurt than calling out sin. It was sad to see a church that I loved reduced to a dead husk. Matt keeps it real, teaching how to follow Christ first Santa Cruz Bible has been my church home for decades. We’ve been Blessed by the addition of Pastor Matt. I love how relatable he is and how he is able to connect with people. Our church loves having fun inviting all to attend! Love our Church!! Santa Cruz Bible is a welcoming church for everyone who is searching for hope ,faith, And a sense of belonging through Jesus Christ ✝️ pastor Matt and Scott dynamically delivers Gods’ words you can relate with💕 I love it here🙏🏼 Very glad Santa Cruz Bible Church has Pastor Matt. I am certain that great things are happening at SCBC. For those who don’t know Matt, he was our lead pastor here in Tampa, but God had other plans for him. Pastor Matt is the kindest, non- judgmental and most welcoming person. God, speaks directly to me through him and he always has. Each message Matt shares feels like it was tailored just for me and is delivered with a levity that is refreshing. I believe the culture of SCBC is one of HOPE…for ALL. Thank you for continuing to post the messages on YouTube.
