Been going to this church since it was started. The pastor breaks down the Bible so we'll that my 8 year old God daughter rather sit and listen to pastor than go to children's church. The people are very loving and welcoming. We have a mixed race congregation and even have Spanish services after the English service. If you want to learn the Bible for yourself, then this is your church! They have an awesome children's ministry as well. Come visit one Sunday and see for yourself. We're a large yet loving church!!! I was there to see my son-in-law’s mother being honored for her services of over 30 years. And it was a very, very beautiful service. The atmosphere was very welcoming. If I lived in Stockton, I would definitely go to that church.. God has placed me where He is moving in my Life And I Love everything about Progressive Community Church 💯💕🙏🏾 I love this church. I love the praise and the worship. I am definitely on full every time I leave pastor Shield and his wife and family, beautiful, beautiful people. Beautiful people. I plan to join and I want to get more involved. Especially, I would love to be a greeter. I would love to sing, but I cannot sing so I'm hoping that one day I can be a greeter. My name is sister Antoinette Gamble And I do tide's an offering. Friendly, welcoming congregation. The pastor does not 'preach'. Which is my preference. No made-up rituals. No begging for money. Just lessons from the Bible and fellowship. I grew up in church with a wonderful 'preacher', and I still love a good down-home sermon. But I have gained more knowledge as I continue to develop my relationship with God from those who teach. Pastor is a wonderful teacher of the Bible. He seems a humble man and is a fascinating storyteller. The church supports the community and offers various life enhancing ministries/groups to become a part of. I've been visiting for months now, and I am just about ready to become a member. It's been 3 months since I wrote the above. I am so happy to report that I am now a member! I can hardly wait to see which ministry I am drawn to.
