Changed rating from 2 to 4. Visited again with a friend and the culture seems more friendly. Church seems to have changed a few policies to be more inclusive of people from various phases in life. Visited several times... Pastor speaks about different kinds of people following Jesus, yet church feels cliquey, as if the only way to truly be accepted is to break into the right friend groups. Lots of emphasis placed on joining small groups. If joining is difficult because of erratic work, family, or conflicting schedules (or you're simply not ready yet) there won't be many resources for you or people willing to connect. Messages were bible-based teaching through a book of the bible. Pastors were inclusive of many different political views while still holding onto sound biblical teaching. There was a clear, continual message that political views don't save. Jesus saves. Also, an overemphasis on personal condemnation. Songs were upbeat and many instruments used including guitars, drums, and keyboard. Services opened with a couple songs and concluded with a couple songs and communion. Baptisms followed a few of the services. Parking is challenging, so arrive early or look for guest parking near entrance. Outside of the building is pretty plain, but inside is nicely decorated, especially the children's area which includes a climbing wall, a log cabin stage, and bench seats. In conclusion, may be a good fit if you instantly feel at home here. If not, you may want to keep moving. Leadership and regular attendees probably go out of their way to make you feel welcome. My husband and I moved to Temecula a year ago and got plugged into Crosspoint right when we got here. This has become more than just a church for us, they are more like family. The whole staff is kind, knowledgeable, helpful, fun, easy to be around and creative. They always have fun events scheduled and the sermons are well laid out and easy to follow. I feel like I have grown so much this past year due to this church family, Jesus is really present. I recommend getting plugged into a small group, it’s a wonderful way to get connected and strengthen your faith. They have two different campuses and a variety of times to satisfy most schedules. I would highly recommend Crosspoint to the established Christian and to someone just curious of what it’s all about. We found this welcoming, Biblical teaching church in the middle of the Pandemic. We have been attending since October and have had tons of opportunities to get involved serving using our gifts. The small groups really helped us to get to know some people on a deeper level and establish community. Love this church and the people! You should definitely check it out! We might be biased, because we are partners now, but this is truly a unicorn church that checks off all the boxes when looking for a new home. Teaching from the bible, all kinds of people welcomed, and true servant leadership….thankful for the way we have been poured into so we can bless others. My first time visiting Crosspoint church and it was an amazing welcoming and the sermon was very nice, love the music. I really think I found my new church. I like the fact that they have service on Saturday night. I really thank my neighbor friends for taking to Crosspoint church.
