What visitors say
SBCC is a growing church, now with four services. The blessed thing about it is that they aren't chasing growth in people numbers, they are focused on growing each individual's knowledge of scripture and personal faith in Christ. They primarily teach through books of the Bible (rather than have constant "themed" messages). This is critical in teaching because going verse-by-verse forces the teacher to address the full beauty of God's word, from the good to the uncomfortable, from the basic truths to the challenging sections. The pastoral staff and the overall staff are very friendly, approachable, and most importantly, prayerful. This is not a high-pressure church at all, it's Spirit-lead, organic maybe. They accept each person as they come and are dedicated to teaching each person in a way that is simple but with outstanding depth. I have never felt shamed or condemned by the messages, just convicted in way that points to my shortcomings but fills with hope in my future, strength in my walk, and the joy promises of God's love, mercy, and patience with us. First time visiting this church today and it was amazing. Found it on Google. The folks were very nice, lots of attendees, children's church is available and snacks and refreshments are available. They do have life groups that you can connect to during the week. I will be back next week. SBCC is a great place to find God and Salvation through Faith in Jesus Christ. SBCC provides an loving and supportive community of people dedicated to living and serving our lives to show the existence of the Holy Spirit working through us to help the world 🌎 find God! ! Amen! PTL! Hallelujah!! Glory be to God! It’s an Awesome Place to Be! I just attended a celebration of life for a friend and the pastor was amazing I wish I lived closer to this church this is a community of love and friendship. The best church in the South Bay. All of the pastors do a great job of tying everything in scripture to our daily lives as well as making you feel welcome and appreciated. Highly recommend if you are either new to the area or are choosing to follow Christ in a larger church setting!
