What a beautiful historic place!! Brought my mom here for Mother’s Day. We were greeted with kind smiles all around. We looked at all the displays and watched some interactive videos. It was awesome to learn about the history of the temple and how and when it was built. Highly recommend coming here if you’re an active member of the LDS. The landscape is stunning. Very serene and peaceful. Beautiful ground to explore. Easy parking, the center itself is very modern with display and hands on experience. There is also a kids corner to do things. Good for entire family. Staff are super nice and knowledgeable of the church. If it is a good weather, take a stroll outside the visitor center. The ground is so nice. A remarkable place to feel peace and learn about the temple! I have loved whenever I go, it's such a refuge. I didn’t get to see everything on 6/20/25 but I hadn’t been in many years and there are some amazing updates, including a tomb-like area with depictions of the life of Jesus Christ. There were friendly missionaries (sisters) that greeted my wife and me. I want to go on their tour next time. The pictures I took do not give July justice as I am not very good at taking them… Also there was a question on the review about tickets and I wanted to clarify that it is free. I suppose depending on the day or time it would be more busy but when I was there in the afternoon just after 1:30 on a Friday there weren’t a lot of people. My group traveled from over 700 miles and we showed up 20 minutes before the visitor center closed. Even though we had showed up so late the senior missionaries were so welcoming and inviting. The hospitality they gave us and the way they made our group feel so comfortable was extremely nice. They even took the time and stayed late after shift to give us a full tour of all there exhibits and even explained an event they were having soon. That was such a selfless act of Christlike love. The LA Temple visitor center is a must see if you've ever been curious about LDS temples or religion.
