What visitors say
I help feed the homeless every other week. They have a good program for those willing to expend the effort to get well. They train for jobs, set up in apartments, give counseling, etc. Treat the whole person. The pastor is a graduate of their homeless outreach. Helped me get my life back! Thank You to to staff and volunteers! Yours truly! Dempsey I was new to the Arvada community and discovered The Rising Church's weekly, Saturday morning food pantry when I was in need. I truly felt Spirit amongst all the volunteers coordinating and executing this public service to my new community and it was Gratefully appreciated! Mission Arvada outreach program is outstanding! Serving their Community is a passion! This church brought my 59-year search for the God of my childhood to a joyful close. Their day center is an exceptional example of compassion, treating everyone in need with profound respect and dignity, recognizing them as people, not statistics. Witnessing this incredible work, I felt called to be baptized by Pastor Jarod this Easter, after 59 years.
