Tonight Wednesday Service Purify was a great message. To see a sister come to Christ was beautiful. My new Church home. The final part of the message was Come as Jesus calls us. Thank you Adrian for welcoming me in. I called today asking if your church offers utility assistance or could point me in the right direction for help. The man who answered was dismissive and assumed I was selling something, saying “this isn’t a utility company” and “we’re not interested.” I clarified that I was genuinely asking for help, but was quickly turned away after being asked if I was a member. I understand that not all churches offer assistance or may have eligibility requirements. However, the way this call was handled lacked basic kindness and respect. Even a simple referral to another resource would have made a difference. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so others reaching out in difficult situations are treated with more compassion. I don’t typically leave reviews but I was previously stationed out in Aurora and had been far from God for sometime. During my time there I began building my relationship with the Lord and had prayed to find a church home. The very next day, I was driving by CCF and they were outside offering drive-through prayers. I knew it was a sign for me to attend. I’ve been going for the last 2 years and I’ve recently had to move to Maryland but I must say, I’ve never felt closer to God than during their sermons. I cried so bad when I realized I’d have to leave solely because of how much I’d miss this church. The pastor and his wife are so extremely kindhearted, genuine, and caring people. I unfortunately didn’t get too involved in the church out of nervousness but I wish I had. I cannot say enough about the love and joy I felt in this place of worship. I owe so much gratitude to them for helping me find God again, and I will truly miss it there. ❤️ Life changing, we experienced healing, Holy Spirit power, truth straight from God's Word and friendship. The childcare was tender and intentional. This is a church to receive the unadulterated word of God, straight from the Bible, Anointed worship In the family atmosphere!
