A place to wrestle honestly with faith, doubts, and your relationship with God without pressure or pretending. Over time, through the people, the teaching, and just showing up, it’s become a place I genuinely look forward to being each week. It feels real, welcoming, and grounded. If you’re looking for a church where growth happens naturally and community builds over time, this is a really special place. If you are looking for a SAFE SPACE to explore who God is, or what Jesus is all about - this is the place for you! I moved to the area about 7 months ago. I first noticed the banner "In the City, For The City" and that is what drew me to check out this church. When I visited EVERYONE was so kind and welcoming. I felt at home right away, but took about 4 more months to officially join. What is unique about this church is it is focused on intimacy with God, not ministry for Him. It was planted to help other move toward God from where ever they are at. There is no judgement. No Posturing. Just pointing towards Jesus and His loving father who wants to know you and love you where you are. I have never been a part of a healthier church, and the more I learn, the more impressed I am with Drake, the pastor, and all that call city church home. I am now stepping into learning more about leadership in this church and it is so freeing to feel encouraged to use my gifts, but no pressure to have to lead. I would love to personally invite you into this space and hope I see you there. I explored 4 different church’s in the Boulder area, and when I first went to City Church I knew it was the right fit. It truly is a family, and they’re so proactive on making you feel like part of it! Couldn’t recommend this church enough. Hands on approach, community oriented, incredibly kind and welcoming. I love it!! City Church has been such a gift. From the moment you walk in, you’re met with authentic warmth, friendliness. There’s genuine care. The teaching is thoughtful, grounded in Scripture, and deeply relevant to everyday life, while also being sensitive to where people are at in their relationships with God. The community is a place where you can show up as you are, ask honest questions, and feel both welcomed and encouraged to grow. The leadership is humble and intentional, and there’s a clear heart for loving the city well. Whether you’re wrestling with the concept of God or in deep intimacy with him, City Church is place worth exploring. What first brought me to this church was an experience I had with a member at my work. The man prayed for me in the aisle, in front of many people, with such boldness and confidence...I was INSPIRED! And I wanted to see what church this man came from. The reason I have decided to continue to attend and become a committed member is because at my first visit to the church, I felt the Holy Spirit fill the room during worship and my tears just started to flow... I can see that the Pastor has such a desire to reach the people with the love of God, almost to the point of possibly being misunderstood... I'm looking forward to continuing to grow in my faith and be a part of the community at this humble church of God. ✝️🛐🌅🙌🏼🫂💓💪🏼🐎💯✨ I forgot to mention that I learned how protective this sheherd is of his flock in the things I learned about the church in the growth track meeting and that's another one of the many reasons I've decided to stay a while 😄🙌🏼🌅
