I just had my wedding at Harvest Downtown last Saturday, and it was a fantastic experience, start to finish! The church is beautiful, and the courtyard was so wonderful and convenient for photos, as well as our dinner service from a food truck. The church had everything we needed for the ceremony and reception--a great little kitchen (including a fridge for the cake) and staging area, plenty of chairs and tables, and they let us decorate according to our theme. Their incredible wedding coordinator, Brittany, was so prepared and thoughtful and helpful with suggestions, she made sure nothing could go wrong. She went above and beyond and we are so grateful for her--she was a true blessing that weekend. We were able to hold the rehearsal and decorate the day before, which was so helpful. There were even separate staging areas for the grooms' and bridal parties, and playrooms for younger guests. We felt so doted on--they made it such a smooth and special experience. Could not recommend more for your special occasion--10 out of 5 stars! Bible centric Protestant church with services at 9 am and 10:40 am. Solid preaching and informal atmosphere When my wife and I were looking for a local church, we attended HarvestDowntown for a service. The lead pastor got up on stage and said, "We don't take ourselves seriously, but we do take God seriously." And while I understand that the "Church" is comprised of its people and not of its building, this beautiful and historic church always amazes me Sunday after Sunday. If you're looking for a small, close-knit church family, then this is the place for you. Absolutely love this church. Pastor Kurt makes it his mission of knowing each member of his congregation. This church has done so much for me and my special needs daughter. Definitely have become a second family to us. People that truly care about you. You can instantly tell the members are not acting or being fake when they engage you in conversation. Give it a chance, speak to the Leaders, see for yourself. You will not regret it.
