What visitors say

*BEWARE* Someone just asked if I’d ever seen the bad Google ratings for Manna, and I hadn’t until now. I have to say I wholeheartedly disagree with every bad rating on here. I’ve been attending Manna for 2 years and have never experienced the church they’re describing. Not even as a new member. In fact, the thing that kept me coming back was how welcome I felt. New to the area, they were the only church I tried out who actually made an effort to recognize my face as one they hadn’t seen before. They remembered my name, they remembered my family. When I started serving they made me feel like I was making a difference, and still do! Even after leaving one serve team for another, some people on the old team still genuinely care about how my life is going. Small groups have made the biggest impact on my sense of community, and I love being able to find a group that fits the season of life I’m walking through. I’ve always been so grateful for Pastor Joe’s ability to deliver God’s message in a way that is easy to understand and easy to fact check the Bible for. In reference to a review on here calling Manna homophobic; as Christians we are called to love everyone, so we do. But Pastor Joe will never compromise what God’s word says, in order to fit in with what culture says. For more on that, lookup his sermon series on YouTube “Manna Church Colorado Springs - Controversial Jesus”. Someone on here complained that our congregants leave the high school a mess for them to cleanup after us, but I’m assuming that person doesn’t know about our Serve team members who stay hours after service ends, to clean up after those who might’ve left trash behind, and leave Harrison High School the way we found it. Someone else complained that we annoy people at the dog park handing out dog treats, in the name of community service. It’s actually called Serve Saturday and we do something different once a month, to show the city of Colorado Springs a tangible expression of the love of Jesus. He told us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, this is a way we do that together as a church. He also told us to go and make disciples, and it’s actually because of someone in a red Manna Church shirt handing me a cold water on a hot day that I came to Manna for the first time. I began my review with *BEWARE* because you always should beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing, especially when looking for a new church to call home. So if that’s you right now, I encourage you not to let all the bad reviews decide for you. But to come and see for yourself. Blessed morning here, visiting from out of town while on travel for work. Contemporary atmosphere with a serious dedication to Jesus...his grace, his truth. If you're looking for a church that avoids both judgmentalism and indulgence, who seem very intent on serving God as best they can, would highly recommend visiting. Very welcoming and friendly, too. Inconsiderate and can't be yourself. Shame shame shame on who I am as a women. Won't ever go back! Great messages and only felt welcome by the pastor. Everyone else seems to monitor people who are not of a normalcy! Shame as I haven't believed in God for months now. I feel mentally better for it too. A Heavenly Experience at Manna Church in Colorado Springs During our visit to Colorado Springs in the winter of 2024, my family and I were blessed to attend Manna Church, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt embraced by a community of love, warmth, and authentic faith. The preaching was deeply biblical, delivered with both conviction and compassion. The pastor’s message was rooted in Scripture, yet practical and relevant, leaving us encouraged and spiritually uplifted. It was evident that the Word of God is central to everything they do at Manna Church. The worship was truly heavenly—spirit-filled, vibrant, and heartfelt. The worship team led the congregation with humility and passion, creating an atmosphere where the presence of the Holy Spirit was palpable. It felt like a glimpse of heaven as voices lifted together in praise. What stood out most to us was the genuine kindness and love of the people. From the greeters to the members, everyone welcomed us as though we were long-lost family. We felt seen and cared for, even as first-time visitors from Atlanta. Their hospitality and intentionality made it clear that this church lives out the love of Christ in every way. Manna Church is more than a place of worship—it’s a thriving community of believers committed to serving God and others. If you’re looking for a church that preaches the Word, fosters meaningful worship, and embodies Christ’s love, we wholeheartedly recommend Manna Church. We left inspired, refreshed, and grateful for the opportunity to worship with such an amazing body of believers. We can’t wait to return! Love the church. The pastor is really nice. The people seem friendly. The service we went to the message was spot on. When we are in the area again we will attend.
