We're new to the area. So my family and I decided to check out this church since it's only 5 minutes away. The greeters outside were friendly. But, no one else acknowledged us. The worship was good. The teaching was on point. But, not friendly or welcoming at all. What happened to "God is love?" Not a diverse church. Saw only one Hispanic family, and one Asian guy in the worship band. Rest where all White. We did not feel welcomed at all. Best church community I have ever been a part of. It's not so big that you don't know anyone's name and the congregation is very friendly. We tried out several churches when we moved to Colorado and this one is perfect. A good mix of military, retired military, and rural/city members. I love the modern worship music and the childcare services are fantastic. This church has become a family and home to us over the last 3 years. Sound and solid Biblical teachings from the pastoral team, amazing musical worship, discipleship oriented with options for everyone to get connected. Not pretentious but very inclusive. I researched the church through their website to see what they believed and it was close to home so I checked it out. I prayed prior to coming because I am a bass player and wanted to use my gifts for God....I found out that they were looking for a bass player so God opened that door! Gateway has sound Biblical preaching and their Spirit glorifies God. There is not a perfect church on the planet but Gateway is always seeking to become more Christ like in what they do, so check them out and go with an open heart ! Our whole family was at Gateway Church this past weekend and all I have to say is "Wow!" Uplifting and powerful worship and a super encouraging Word! It is so good to be among people who are excited about God's Word and love to worship!
