I’ve been blessed to call RFC home for the past 2 years. When we moved here from NY, we wanted a smaller, more family like atmosphere. Needless to say- It truly is a family. I’ve never been to a more accepting and open-armed church. I loved bringing my friends and family here when they flew in for visits. Pastor Deans and pastor Kim’s messages are always on point. They teach the truth, everything is scripture based, and they combine scripture with real life to bring you the most genuine message that can be shared. They talk about everything from family, to marriage, to hardships, especially those they have faced in their own lives. When Pastor Dean and Kim are out- they truly have the best of the best to help make sure Gods word is still presented in the best way. Pastor Aaron, Pastor Sean, Pastor Carey and Pastor Preston do a great job of sharing their hearts and stories and the work that God has done in their lives. Everyone from the staff- volunteers- and congregation, are simply amazing. I’ve never been to another church that has emphasized Gods word especially when it comes to being ONE church- not separate. We pray for other churches in the area each Sunday and alternate between the first responders and military as a church. Pastor Dean and Pastor Kim are personable and have made it part of their ministry and mission to open their home to new members and guests for a meal. Have you ever met another pastor who’s done that? I haven’t. I just love this church. I love the events, the small groups, and the home away from home. So thankful God brought this church into my life and my family’s life. My children love the children/preteen services, they are fun, interactive and the environment is so super awesome AND safe. There is a wonderful new area for breastfeeding moms. There’s not much more I can say. From the bottom of my heart, I will miss my church family when we PCS in 2024 but will still keep them in my heart!! I attended church with my ex and it was a great service especially the message from Pastor Josh. Get fired up and be the Jesus others see. Exemplify the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, and self-control. Thank you I visited with my daughter and family on Sunday 3/29/26. Amazing church. Message hit personal. Gods presence could be felt by all. I cannot wait to visit again. I live out of state so will definitely watch online. Awesome Bible based teaching! Many activities and small groups. Lots of assistance provided to the needy, charity, organizations and schools in the Colorado Springs area. Contributions to various ministries and missions locally and around the world. Our first visit was with my Granddaughter Katelyn and she invited us on our visit to Colorado. What a wonderful and special day at the Rock Family church! We never felt so welcomed everyone from the front door, to dropping off our Great Grandson and the fabulous children center, to the gathering to the choir singing that made cry with happiness and joy, to top it off to the grace felt preaching made our day. We came home and are watching weekly and some older You Tube services. Each and every service leaves us fills with God’s Holy Spirit and Biblical words. Many thanks we are considering moving to CO.
