We have attended The Ascent for over 30 years and have participated in most every aspect of the ministry. We love the community and friendships we've formed and have been blessed by the teaching, worship, bible studies and service. What a generous church! The Ascent ministers to the families that attend and have contributed greatly to the community through fundraising for suicide prevention in the schools and utilizing their building for other organizations. My husband and I have been attending The Ascent for a little over a year since moving to the area from out of state. We were looking for a church that actually teaches expository. We found it at The Ascent. Everyone is so warm and welcoming too. The Ascent Church is a Bible‑based community with excellent teaching centered on hope, healing, and the freedom we have in Christ. We wholeheartedly recommend this church for its strong biblical teaching and the many opportunities it offers for fellowship with other believers. It also provides a meaningful pathway for those seeking to know God more intimately and find answers to life’s deepest questions. I have been attending here for 18 years, and it is such a great community. I am thankful for the relationships that I’ve made at The Ascent and for the sound and Biblically based teaching that I receive each week. I have been in a few Base Camps (Small Groups) throughout the 18 years here, and these are really special (eternal) friendships that I’ve made. We love the children’s programs for our 8 year old and we are very thankful to call The Ascent our home church. Great friendly local church in Monument! My wife and I love the expository sermons that help us grow in our faith and understanding of the Bible and how God wants us to live. We have an awesome base camp (small group) that we meet with monthly. Our kids enjoy the children’s church and activities that they plan for them. My whole family loves being a part of The Ascent Church!
