I love this Church I moved away and went on a Sunday . I shure was missed ! Im g I ing to try to come more often . I really feel like this church represents the Jesus I learned about as a kid, the Jesus who breaks down barriers and invites all, REALLY all, into community. The sermons are always both thought provoking and meaningful, and the community is welcoming, open, and represents the full spectrum of humanity. If you are someone who has left the Christian church because of how Christian churches the hostile way have treated the LGBTQ community in the past, or been in a church environment where there was only one way to think or be and everyone else was going to hell, but you still want to believe and miss church… come here. They’re doing their level best to put things right, while being wonderfully human along the way. I really love this church and I’m so glad they exist. This is the best Church I’ve been to. Great sermons and services given by the pastor. She is so personable and engaging. Everyone there is welcoming. Truly a place that represents Gods love and open arms. Such an open and loving community. A great place for family, the pastors aren't afraid to discuss difficult topics. There is a huge emphasis on social justice and uplifting the oppressed. I firmly believe that this sort of place is what Jesus meant when he talked about the church. A community of love and acceptance. These people are REAL. This Sunday congregation is one of the most diverse, open, accepting, friendly groups of people I've ever known. I'm an Athiest who was raised Methodist and no one judges or prods at my current religious beliefs if they find out or I tell them. They may want to hear more but it's in a super non-judgemental way, and guess what? I've never been more comfortable spending time in a church in my life. This Methodist Church reminds me a lot of the one I grew up with and the only church my parents attended that I'd previously called "my church".
