What visitors say
The people at Hope Valley are genuinely caring and sincere, and we are proud to call it our church home. Pastor Andrew and his family have shown our family and so many others true love and kindness. We especially appreciate that the church remains firmly grounded in the Bible. The leadership consistently reflects the values they teach. Lead Pastor David Hermes has been a wonderful example of that. From the very beginning, he was welcoming and encouraging, and it is clear that the pastors here truly live out what they preach. We feel very grateful to be part of this community. My family has been coming to Hope Valley for over a year. I truly appreciate the community and genuine care that everyone shows to each other. I appreciate leaderships openness to conversations about hard topics (biblical interpretation, personal lives, questions, support, etc) as well as discussing topics in sermons I haven’t normally heard in church before. For the size of the church, the children’s ministry has a lot of kids and the church prioritizes making sure children have the resources they need to thrive. When we first started attending, it was easy to get connected and involved. I appreciate our church and everyone who attends. Moving to Denver was a big transition for me, and finding Hope Valley Church has honestly been such a blessing! The people here have been kind, welcoming, and easy to connect with, which made getting plugged in feel a lot less intimidating. I also really love the classes and midweek Bible studies. They’ve given me a space to cultivate community while continuing to grow in my walk with Christ. You can tell this is a church that truly cares about people, faith, and serving the community. Really grateful I found this place, and it’s definitely worth checking out ❤️. A friend of mine had visited Hope Valley and said to me, Rhonda, I think I found a church that you would like. She said she thought it was “the place” I was looking for. I visited and I will tell you the first thing that touched, my heart, sincerely, was the diversity of the people in attendance, not just the people sitting in the congregation, but the staff. When you find a church that has a truly diverse staff, then you know that they truly celebrate all people and love them the way that God has asked us too. And then that was what was next, experiencing a group of people who truly love the Lord! And it shows in the way that they love each other and love those of us who were coming even for the first time. I have been part of the Hope Valley family for, I believe, five years now and that has not changed. If you want to be a part of a group of people who truly live the way that Daddy God wants us too, then Hope Valley is the place for you. No church is perfect. Please understand that. However, there are churches that strive to continually grow to be the best they can be and my experience leads me to say Hope Valley is one of them. My family and I have loved this church since the first day we set foot in the building over two years ago. From the enthusiastic youth pastor to the warm greeters and kind pastor and all the people we've met since—this place has felt like home since day 1. We are a diverse congregation filled with people who are willing to be real with each other even in our initial conversations, even in small pockets of time on Sunday mornings. A true answer to prayer!
