What visitors say
We were here for a memorial service. The pastor was warm, friendly, gracious and has a wonderful singing voice. A church is a hospital of the soul and a doctor cannot help a patient in need if he tells him that he is in perfect health I've never worshiped with these people, but I can tell you that they are absolutely wonderful. I am an organizer with The Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival and they have graciously allowed us to meet in their building bi-weekly for months. One of their members, himself a retired Pastor, joined our group and has been blessed by the congregation with offerings for PPC efforts. Their kindness towards us has been unceasing and we are deeply grateful. They are socially invested. They are welcoming and they are loving. If I were looking for a place to worship, I'd spend, at least, a Sunday morning or two with the kind folks of 6th Ave. UCC; they are blessings. Great little UCC Church with a small congregation of loving people and staff. Pastor is open warm and loving and caring.... Beautiful old inclusive church.
