Huge shout out to the Youth Group!!! They pulled up to shovel for my 90 yr old neighbor, I asked if I could pay them to do mine because I just had my gallbladder removed. They wouldn't take my money and did my driveway and steps. They not only shoveled for their original stop and mine, but also did the neighbor next to me! All of the teenagers were so sweet. Just thank you 🩵 I attended this church for a time several years back. I will say this church is excellent at greeting people; and the Elders work very hard at getting to know people, however this comes across as very mechanical and there were other aspects that felt cult-like such as: 1. The church says it is "bible chapel" it is actually VERY REFORMED in their theology and has its roots in Plymouth Brethren movement, I think they be more up from about that; 2. The church is very "cliquish" if your family has attended her for a long time, then I could see it being a easy to meet people church, hard for new comers; 3. If you leave the church they pretty much forget about you or almost "shun" you, especially if you are accused of wrongdoing; 4. The leadership is Elder led and comes across as alarmist and suspicious; 5. The church is not very open to evangelism, outreach or any Charismatic leanings and does not welcome folks of other backgrounds. *Overall the Church follows many traditions of a Plymouth Brethren movement which historically has been very legalistic. If you disagree it comes across with suspicion. Our kids love love love going to Owana every Wednesday. The staff here are lovely and it definitely has a community loving and caring atmosphere regardless if you're new or been here for years I’ve been going to this church for a while now with my family and friends with a while and I really love the teaching, the church is growing but the teaching isn’t deviating like all the other churches when they start growing, solid biblical teaching and great sense of community that is kind, welcoming and encouraging as well! Littleton Bible Chapel is my church. They treat me very well here. They show me a lot of respect. And they let me use the porch when the weather gets bad. This church is the best that I have ever attended. Here, I have gotten as close to God as I'll ever get.
