In DC for spring break, decided to attend Passion City DC because Ben Stuart has been a guest preacher at our home church, SECC in Louisville, KY. The Easter service was tremendous, I could feel the Spirit in the room from the moment we arrived. Worship music was awesome, sermon was awesome, all the people were friendly. I am thankful for GODs Kingdom and how GOD made a way. Happy Easter It was a great service, but the pastor could have went much deeper into the Word of God and not just speaking the basics of the Gospel. People need to hear about sin and the seriousness of God's judgment on people who won't repent but continue to live in their sinful lifestyle. I have been coming here for over a year now. I had tried to find a new church once I moved here from SC, but couldn’t find the right fit until Passion City. Everyone is so friendly and I love the music. It’s very similar to my church back home. I also enjoy listening to Pastor Ben and his teachings. I’ve also had the opportunity to attend some neighborhood nights. This church is highly involved in the community and I feel welcomed. Going to church here is like attending an awesome rock concert for Jesus! It has the feel of a Mega Church. It’s a lot of age 35 and younger, but being 45+ we felt welcomed too! Pastor Ben has a relatable message about the Bible and real life, he’s a little funny too! Lots of small groups and opportunities to worship, community service and connect! They make it a point to invite and not just post in bulletin. Parking is city streets. Very vibrant, large congregation that trends younger, (though not exclusively); the majority of attendees are probably in the 18-35 demographic. This church helped me reconnect with my faith after many years away. It is a non-denominational church that avoids many of the pitfalls and criticisms that other non-denominational churches may fall into. The preaching (from multiple members of staff) is all-around superior. The preaching is a good mix of intellectual and emotional. It's accessible to those who may come in with questions or a lack of familiarity with a church setting. Music is good.
